David Campbell is a senior executive with a proven ability to build companies, provide valuable strategic, operational and financial direction and execution abilities to create corporate value. He is currently Managing Partner of Belweather Capital Partners, an early stage technology investment fund and advisory services company. He has raised over $100 million in private and public equity capital as Chief Financial Officer of three early stage technology companies over the last ten years (GuestLogix Inc., Dexit Inc. and Basis100 Inc.) and taken all three of these companies public, one via IPO and two via reverse takeover.

Through this period, David has also led and co-led negotiations of 10 strategic partnerships and acquisitions and all aspects of the mergers and acquisitions process (providing leadership to take companies from concept, through growth phases, and to the creation of liquidity events). Prior to joining Basis100, David was a venture capital investor with a major Canadian venture fund, where he developed extensive experience and strong skills in deal sourcing, negotiation, structuring, valuation, financial and industry analysis.

David earned a degree in Honours Business Administration at Richard Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario. He was granted the Chartered Financial Analyst designation in 1996.
