Kinsa, a registered Canadian charity founded in 2004, works with Canadian law enforcement agencies and other partners to train police officers in developing countries, giving them the expertise to find and rescue child victims of abuse whose images are shared on the Internet.

Once rescued, victims and their families receive support to help them heal through the Mothers Online Movement (MOM), a powerful community network.

Our close working relationships with the best investigators in the world mean that we are always able to provide cutting edge training. Since 2006 Kinsa has trained police officers from Indonesia, Chile, Poland, Brazil, Romania and South Africa. One of the Brazilian officers we trained played a major role in the arrest of a man from New Brunswick for abusing 10 children.  Kinsa training works.

Developing nations have an incredible pool of keen, young, computer savvy officers who are starving for knowledge. They just need training and that’s what Kinsa does. We want to train them and give them the tools they need to go back to their countries as agents of change.

Corporations can help by sponsoring a Kinsa training session for $50,000. This will pay for airfare, accommodation, meals and all training costs for 10 officers to come to Toronto.

Benefits of corporate sponsorship include:

  • The opportunity to meet the police officers who are taking part in the training
  • Attending a formal dinner with the officers and Kinsa Board members
  • Recognition on the Kinsa website
  • Recognition in a press release in Canada
  • Recognition in a press release in the sponsored country
  • Recognition on the Kinsa Facebook page
  • Recognition on the Kinsa Twitter feed
