Wait, you don’t have to run a marathon to help, you can sign up for the half marathon, or for a 5K run or walk.This is Kinsa’s first year in the marathon and we are working hard to make it a major fundraising and awareness building day. Sign up with a group of friends and family, involve your children. Each participant has to register to run and then register to fundraise. Procedure and links provided below. Complete the remainder of the form.4. Make sure to specify that you are a Charity Challenge Runner.5. Then from the drop down menu, select Kinsa Foundation (listed in alphabetical order).6. Enter the discount PIN Code: CCDISC.7. Once you have finished registering, and have submitted your information, you will receive a confirmation email which will include a TRANSACTION ID: JME#######. Read the email carefully and print a copy to bring with you to pick up your race package. You will need the TRANSACTION # to register to fundraise, so have it on hand and follow the procedure below. Step 2: Registering for Online Fundraising 1. Click here to go to the fundraising website2. Click on the Sign Up button, below Start Fundraising (left side of screen)3. Select the charity you would like to support from the drop-down menu.4. Click on Continue 5. Select ‘A Team Member’ and choose the 'Kinsa' team if you are an adult or the 'Kids Kinsa' team for your kids. You have an option of collecting pledges as: - An Individual – Individual fundraising for your charity - A Team Captain – Charity Fundraising Team Captain - A Team Member – Join an existing Charity Fundraising Team6. Click Continue 7. Follow the onscreen steps to create an account.8. Set your fundraising goal – it is a goal, something to shoot for. You are not bound by it, but it may serve to motivate you and your supporters to reach for a higher target.9. Enter the JME####### Transaction ID number you received in your registration confirmation email.10. Personalize your page with a appeal, add images, add Paul Gillespie’s video address http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ltMccSY9E78, you can title it “Kinsa’s CEO address” and check the box marked ‘Make it my default video.’11. Once you are satisfied with your personal page, Click on the Submit button.12. Start Fundraising by following the on-screen instructions or Click on ‘Skip This Step’ and fundraise at a later date. You will receive a fundraising registration confirmation email, which will include a link to your personal fundraising page. Post the link to your Facebook account, email it to your contact list...START FUNDRAISING!
